Privacy policy
Your privacy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Vancouver Auto Spa ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act. If you have a question, email info@vancouverautospa.ca.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you book, request a quote, text, call or email: your name, phone number, email, service address, vehicle details, photos of your vehicle and anything you tell us about the job.
- Payment information when you pay a deposit or invoice. Payments are processed by our booking and payments provider. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Website usage information collected by cookies and similar tools, such as the pages you visit, the buttons you click, your device and browser, your approximate location, and the ad or link that brought you to our site.
Why we use it
- To quote, book and carry out your service, and to contact you about it.
- To take payments and keep business and tax records.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and follow-ups, such as maintenance plan reminders.
- To understand how people use our website and to measure and improve our advertising.
We only use your information for these purposes, or for others you agree to or that the law allows.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Jobber, for bookings, quotes, invoices and payments.
- Google, for business email and Google Analytics.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel, to measure and improve our ads.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
Cookies, analytics and ads
Our website uses cookies and similar tools from Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. They help us see which pages and ads lead to bookings, and they let Meta show our ads to people who have visited our site. You can limit this by:
- Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings.
- Changing your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.
- Installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The site works without these cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal and tax requirements. Business and tax records, such as invoices, are kept for at least six years, as the Canada Revenue Agency requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
We use reputable providers with strong security, limit who can access your information, and use secure connections on our website. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
- You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- You can withdraw your consent to marketing messages at any time.
- You can ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or tax reasons.
To do any of these, email info@vancouverautospa.ca. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
